HAPPEN member Michelle Romanica has been appointed as our Director of Volunteer Services.
In keeping with the spirit of ‘people helping people’ in our HAPPEN networking meetings, we are launching an exciting new volunteer program where members can derive even greater benefit from their attendance.
Why get involved?
- Greater exposure to the group at large makes you more “memorable”.
- Greater interaction → better understanding of what others are looking for → more exchange of opportunities.
- Increases your comfort zone → greater support to make the most of these challenging times
- Fun!
During next week’s Mississauga and Burlington meeting, Michelle will give a brief overview of the positions and explain how you can get involved. The program will be introduced in Toronto at the Feb 26th meeting, as there is no meeting next week.
We enthusiastically look forward to sharing this with you next week!
