Members who attend the meetings in Ontario have been personally provided with new tools for the past 2 weeks. A package of information in a HAPPEN folder has been handed to every one attending.
This includes discount fee tickets for first time attendance to be given to your contacts that have an interest in HAPPEN. The ticket will allow first time attendance at a morning networking session for only $10 plus HST.
In addition HAPPEN promotional brochures are included for you to distribute. To make yourself memorable as a candidate leave a brochure with your interviewer, it will be the only gift from a candidate that they receive. This week the packages will include the speaker hand out notes, be sure to pick up yours at the registration table.
HAPPEN depends upon word of mouth advertising (your mouth) to add a constant stream of new members, recruiters and other supporters. It is to every members benefit to publish the benefits of HAPPEN and increase the group network of business contacts.
The evening Alumni event on 2 December in Ontario is already very popular. You may register on the website HAPPEN Christmas Event or at any networking meeting. As food has to be prepared there will be no registration at the door on the night of the event.
Cut off date for ticket sales is November 24th. So Sign up now!
The event is one of a series that allows members who are working to revitalize previous connections and maintain and grow their network.
The help you need to get your next job is most likely to be found speaking face to face with other members or someone they know.
As part of your membership expert advice is available for no extra charge. When you need help please contact one of the 'Approved Service Providers' listed on the website. They have all made presentations to the membership, some we are able to see more often than others. They are generous with their time and advice to members and are pleased to speak with you.
