That's the suggestion in an article in today's Globe and Mail titled: Pick me, I can do anything (on page B15). Seems some job seekers have been overly aggressive in promoting themselves to the point of not getting the job they were applying for. Further down in the article, the author also makes reference to job seekers who refuse to consider work considered beneath them.
With news that U.S. employers cut well over a half a million jobs last month alone and the Canadian economy shed almost 130,000 jobs, it maybe time to get more aggressive in searching for work and more flexible when in the job interview.
