During tough times, it's important to remember just how much value we still bring to the workplace.

Job seekers (and everyone for the matter) would also do well to start putting together a brag file. Fill it with all the good things you have done, people have said etc and use it to the same end.
Be a true personal brand and differentiatied and take it a step further and turn it in to a presentation binder to take in to interview and visibly demonstrate why someone should hire you.
